Inside Sales Executive

Baptie & Company, is the world-leading provider that specializes in building business to business communities and delivering best practice and how-to information.   We are currently recruiting for dynamic, highly motivated, passionate and confident sales executive to join our conference and event sales team. We need an individual who is eager to be a part of an innovative team on the move. You will be an integral part of our success and a valued team member! 


The role involves cold calling, telesales and speaking to senior executives in the IT and Telecommunications industries for the purpose of selling delegate spots to attend, participate, and gather best practice information on sales, marketing and business development issues that the industry is facing. This is a full-time position, Monday- Friday, during regular business hours.



  • Interact with prospects via telephone and email

  • Execute proactive calls to existing client database about current and upcoming events

  • Work campaigns consisting of outbound calls and emails to email marketing leads

  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and sign up attendees

  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections



  • Strong telephone, interpersonal and communication skill

  • Excellent prospecting sales skills

  • Detail-oriented with a positive and enthusiastic attitude that can work in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task & work effectively both independently and part of a team

  • Must have confidence in communicating with VP’s and C suite professionals

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Outstanding work ethic, self-motivated and focused



  • Telesales experience

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required

  • A knowledge and passion for B2B sales

  • Proficient using Outlook, MS Excel.

  • Experience with CRM programs is a plus

  • Salary is based at $35,000 per annum, with potential earnings of up to $45,000+ including commission and bonus.
