Digital Marketing Specialist

Baptie & Company is the world-leading provider that specializes in building a business to business communities and delivering best practice and how-to information. We are currently recruiting for dynamic, highly motivated, passionate and confident digital marketing specialist to join our marketing team. You will be an integral part of our success and a valued team member! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and executing the marketing and communicating strategy for the communities as well as other service lines. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, during regular business hours, and requires occasional travel out of state. 



  • Maintaining and auditing content and graphics for communities and events

  • Updating and monitoring the back end of three community websites

  • Developing the online experience, including improving functionality and customer journey

  • Work with new platform vendor and development team to develop new website for 3 communities

  • Work with development team on website changes, implementing and proofing those changes

  • Applying SEO best practices to community websites

  • Updating community databases with new member information

  • Creating weekly/monthly emails including newsletters, promotional, and news flashes, with responsibility for writing and graphics

  • Managing and updating the mailing and social media schedules

  • Writing posts and engaging with our social media audiences

  • Acting as the resident social media expert and developing the strategy for the Communities and optimizing links on Twitter, LinkedIn, Google +, etc

  • Reporting on key metrics for all digital activities

  • Creating KPI reports for client meetings and other analytic reports as needed

  • Support event department by preparing Speaker bios, PowerPoint slides, table stands, invites, etc

  • Support in preparing printed materials for conferences and roadshows

  • Graphic design projects as needed

  • Video editing projects as needed



  • 1-2 years’ experience in digital marketing

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field

  • Experience with website management, SEO, email campaigns, social media, &CRMs

  • Experience writing content

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Experience with Photoshop a plus
